Review: Worst experience. I am a business owner and have been for over 10 years. I was picking sod up and I was waiting on the guy to load the sod. While waiting I was talking to a customer on the phone It took him about 10 minutes to get there. I got off of the phone to talk to the loading guy which I find out is the owner. He didn’t know how much I needed. I remembered most of it but had to get a sheet to make for sure. He was irritated with me. (They should be notified and load that amount up or ask for the sheet of what I bought) I deal with a lot of customers and bidding a lot of jobs this time of year. Unless the numbers are in front of me I probably won’t remember. He started helping me then drove off. I called the office number and asked what happened to the guy helping me. The gentlemen who answered the phone said I am the one who was helping you. He said, “You were more interested in talking on the phone so I left.” I was so mad. I cannot believe that he is the owner and would talk to a customer like that. I called the front and the office lady answered. She said,” I’m sorry he is really grumpy.” She continued to apologize for his behavior. He finally came back and told me to load the remainder of the rolls and he left.I had bought almost a 1,000sq ft of sod. A mix of Bermuda and fescue.Im going back to Easton Sod. They are easy to deal with. You drive through they know what you are getting and they load and help load additional rolls not drive off and rude/ disrespectful.Ive shopped here before and bought plenty of sod. I don’t understand and hope things change.
